There are two ways that you can get your acne treated.  One is go to the dermatologist and spend long hours in the waiting room.  The other is to ask around and take the advice of your pharmacist on the most fast moving Acne wash and pick it up over the counter.  The second option is the most inexpensive and least time consuming.

If you can get something that consists of mostly natural products then it would be safe to assume that it would be a gentle Acne wash and ideal for trying out without any major repercussions.  Ingredients such as honey, orange, lemon etc… are known agents for combating acne.  An Acne wash using herbal remedies is known to dry the skin a bit and help the reduction of oil on your face.

Then you have some Acne wash which contain medications in the product itself.  Ingredients such as benxoyle peroxide are common in some famous brands such as Clearsil.  Either a soap is available with these medications or there are washes in the form of a gel.  Gel based washes are more suitable for oily skin with acne as the cream based ones will add moisture to your skin and enhance the oil rather than reduce it.

Some brands of Acne wash are advertised through teleshopping networks and make tall claims about their effectiveness.   Inadvertently, the cost you will incur will be quite high for these products and they could just be fly by night companies.  The products offered through this means may not necessary be properly tested and safe to use.

You can make an Acne wash from your own kitchen.  You can take a ripe tomato and extract the juice to apply over your skin.  Leave it on for atleast 30 minutes or overnite and wash it off.  The same thing can be done with an application of honey and cinnamon.

There is no need to hide yourself indoors as there are Acne Washes suitable for every skin type along.  Depending on the size of your pocket you can pick up an Acne wash and look forward to moving out with a spring in your step all the while showing off your glowing skin.
